A new Super Tuscan that has just arrived in the store is often enough to get the staff at Bishop's Cellar into a real buzz, or how about the rich apricot of a Nova Scotia Icewine. What about Jim, Hugh Hamilton's dog that determines when they pick their Shiraz at its optimum ripeness in the McLaren Vale. These are all a part of what our staff add to every bottle of wine at Bishop's Cellar. Alanna will tell you about the challenges of growing Pinot in her Dad's vineyard in Habitant, while Hannah will flood you with stories about d'Arry Olsen and how this 83 year old man still walks his vineyards and chats to every pretty girl he meets in his vineyard tours. Sounds like a tough job huh?

At Bishop's, we all love wine, and each of us work every day to develop our knowledge of the vine and expand our passion for great wine. Most of our staff actively contribute to our website, facebook page and also write features in a number of journals and magazines across Canada.
